Duncan Family Farms’ journey to becoming one of the country’s largest growers of organic baby salad greens has had more than one element of destiny—and it all started when Arnott Duncan needed to move some hay bales.
In 1989, Hans Wilgenburg launched Wilgenburg Greenhouses with two acres of greenhouse space in Dinuba, California. Today, 32 years later, Wilgenburg owns 105 certified organic acres and is well-known for his organic tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.
Mexican and California organic asparagus is in steady production, with good supplies anticipated at least through May, making it a great promotable item for the Easter holiday.
