Tutti Frutti Organic Heirlooms & Hard Squash Thrives

The coastal climate of the Santa Ynez river valley has provided Tutti Frutti with a thriving organic heirloom tomato and squash operation. While other national growers are transitioning into cold weather crops, Tutti Frutti is in the midst of peak production.

Founded by Chris Cadwell 30 years ago Tutti Frutti currently grows on over 300 acres and the farm's location has been paramount to its success. The valley’s micro climate is perfect for heirlooms. The coastal breeze minimizes mildew, while light evening fog slows the ripening, enhancing and concentrating flavor, according to Cadwell.
