Greenhouse Produce Company of Vero Beach, Florida announces the retirement of their Director Sales, Glen Bezanson of Durham, N.C. Glen worked in the produce industry for 35 years and held Sales Management positions with Westlake Distributors, Eurofresh and Greenhouse Produce. Glen was instrumental in attaining significant new distribution and authorizations among California retailers for Eurofresh’s expansion into the new on-the-vine product in the late 90’s. Fried De Schouwer, President of Greenhouse Produce Company, worked with Glen for over 20 years said, “Glen has always been a big part of the company. He was up for the job since the start. As a friend, he has been there for me since we worked together at Eurofresh. All of us know very well, the produce business is a roller coaster. And Glen was that daily dose of realism that kept us going, reminding us there was a better day ahead. As a mentor and a leader, with a bright light on dull days he will be missed. I wish him a well-deserved retirement.
