What’s new at OPS 2024?

Fresh voices

This year’s Organic Produce Summit features new and innovative perspectives in the organic produce industry. Be sure to catch panelists Jilea Hemmings of Nourish + Bloom Market, Jim Sullivan of Yoke’s Fresh Market and Jeff Cady of Northeast Shared Services at their session, How Regional Retailers are Growing Organic Fresh Produce Sales.

Sherry Frey delivers Thursday’s keynote address, Changing Consumer Impact on Organic Produce Opportunities. This forward-thinking session promises to, “explore the impact of shifting consumer demographics and demands on organic produce, and how the industry can continue to identify new marketing opportunities.” The full schedule is now available on the OPS website organicproducesummit.com.

Expanded trade show space

The sold-out exhibitor floor will feature nearly 200 growers, shippers and processors of organic produce. This space provides a one-stop shop of the leading producers of organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, and herbs from across the globe.

To accommodate even more exhibitors, an additional exhibition space was added to the floor plan to introduce tabletop spaces at OPS 2024. Be sure to explore this new area and meet the new exhibitors attending this year.

There are a few spaces left in this area and space is limited! If you’re interested in exhibiting at OPS, please reach out to [email protected] to see if you qualify.

New events added for July 10

If you’re not attending the retailer-exclusive field tours, join Organic Produce Summit at one of our newly added events on Wednesday July 10.

There will be a Morning Yoga event at the Monterey Marriott located only steps from the Monterey Conference Center. Attendees will receive a yoga mat and snacks, in addition to a revitalizing yoga session with a local instructor. Get centered before the show begins from 9-10 a.m. on July 10.

Following that, the Organic Produce Summit has partnered with Brighter Bites to provide a volunteer community service event, Seed to Service. Attendees will pack 1,000 bags of produce to be distributed to 500 food insecure families in Monterey County. Space is limited and there will be an opportunity to sign up for this in the coming month. Attendees unable to volunteer are still encouraged to stop by and learn more about Brighter Bites and how produce companies can get involved!
