“Our genesis is a group of people coming together in 2021 that are young and in agriculture in big ways,” said John Paul, agency director for the Madera, California-based company. “Our main partner is a very large nut grower and dairyman, and combine him with myself on the fresh produce side, we look at the ways companies have been marketing, and we help bridge the gap of how people digest marketing efforts and help companies get their message out there in a way that’s connecting in the digital world.”

“How often do you find an agency that has real growers?” Paul asked. “It’s not one of these large agencies coming out of New York or Austin or Los Angeles; this is a Central Valley-based marketing company that helps service companies and fresh producers.”

“In terms of the grower perspective, I would be analyzing their size, how they are reaching people, where they are going,” Paul said. “Right now, the consumer mentality is they want to connect with people to see who it is they are buying from and where these stories are coming to. We need to tell the story of these growers because there are some special people out there.”

He added that 2024 is a pivotal moment for organic growers and their marketing arms to start getting consumers connected to the fascinating ag industry—a $55 billion market in California.

“We’re very deep strategists because we’re so connected to the industry at all levels,” Paul said. “And it’s not just fresh produce; it’s other industries we can bring our expertise to. Our big thing is identifying a pathway for the customer in terms of where is the best way to provide value, and then we backfill with the services.”
