2019 New Mexico Organic Farming Conference Has A New Home

The venue for the next New Mexico Organic Farming Conference has changed. Scheduled for Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 16, the annual conference will be at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, Albuquerque. The new venue will provide more room for exhibitors who have until Oct. 29 to reserve a space for the conference.

Minnesota Company Strives to be The Cargill of Organic Food

A Minneapolis firm is trying to change that by streamlining the organic supply chain. Pipeline Foods, a private-equity-backed company started less than two years ago, in recent weeks took over a grain elevator in Atlantic, Iowa, its fifth elevator dedicated to handling organic crops.
