Organic Produce Network Continues Growth with Launch of Website, Weekly E-newsletter and New Staff

SALINAS, CA (March 15, 2017)—The Organic Produce Network (OPN) continues to grow their presence with the launch of its website, weekly e-newsletter and a new addition to their staff.

OPN debuted the inaugural edition of its newsletter OPN Connect—a free weekly e-newsletter focused on current issues and topics related to organic fresh produce with an emphasis on original content and analysis.

The companion OPN website, organicproducenetwork.com, designed for the entire organic produce community, includes helpful information and education related to organic fresh produce.  The website includes an overview of what organic produce is, how it differs from conventional and relevant resources to learn more about organic fresh produce.  Additional sections and information will be updated on an ongoing basis to maintain the site’s fresh, informative and vibrant feel.

OPN also added a new employee to their team. Jill Tebbe joined the OPN team as the marketing and administrative assistant and will be involved in all aspects of OPN’s marketing and communications programs.  She has valuable social media, digital and email marketing experience that will be a major benefit to programs and activities OPN has in place.  Tebbe joins editor Patty Bennie-Foss and sales manager Dana Davis on the OPN staff.

Prior to joining OPN, Tebbe worked in marketing for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Moxxy Marketing as well as the California Rodeo Salinas and the American Quarter Horse Association.

“We’re excited to have Jill on our team and look forward to utilizing her marketing experience to work together and grow the Organic Produce Network, “said Matt Seeley, CEO of OPN.
